A one-person studio
I make a small number of films a year — educational animation, promotional work for businesses, and covers for independent authors. Carefully, and not very many.
The Missing Sparkle Stone — a story about honesty. Written, designed and animated in-house.
Work
A small portfolio on purpose. When something new goes up, something older comes down.
Vertical by design — built for the places these clients' customers actually are.
A sixty-second film for a marketing strategist — typographic, calm, and built around one uncomfortable idea the audience already suspects.
A recurring market report for a real estate practice. Same template each month, new figures, fast turnaround.
Built entirely from agent-supplied photography. No crew, no site visit, no drone.
Cover design for print and digital, built to survive being shrunk to a thumbnail on a retailer page — which is where almost every buying decision actually gets made.
The Author Kit adds social announcement graphics and a fifteen-second animated book trailer. Very few cover designers can also animate.
Services
I take on four to six projects a year. Prices are published so you can decide quickly whether we're a fit — I'd rather you know now than after three emails.
Three finished examples are in the Classroom section — films, activity packs and teacher's guides, all made here.
I also make personalised films for families now and then — a short story built around one child, with a character designed to look like them. It isn't a listed service and I only take a few. If that's what you're after, ask.
For classrooms
Three short films for early elementary — free to watch, free to use in your room, captioned. The activity packs and teacher's guides are how the series pays for itself.
Josh finds something that is not his. Nobody saw him take it, and he tells the truth anyway.
Everyone is talking, so nobody is heard. Nicole doesn't ask for quiet — she listens first.
A little cloud can't manage alone and never asks. James notices anyway.
Nine pages — vocabulary, four scenario sorts, drawing, cut-apart exit tickets and a letter home.
A timed thirty-minute lesson with the discussion script and what to listen for in the answers.
All three films, all three packs, all three guides. The whole unit in one download.
One activity sheet per film. No signup, no email wall. Print it and use it tomorrow.
For schools and practices that want the films ad-free, downloadable and cleared for repeated use — including districts that block streaming video.
One practitioner, unlimited client sessions. Files and all printable materials included.
One teacher, one room. Downloadable files, no ads, all materials included.
Every classroom in one building, plus family-night screening rights.
Original films
These aren't commissions. They're also the clearest evidence of what I can make for you.
Two sisters from a small island can speak to the stars. When a golden city takes them away from everything they know, the older sister has to cross an ocean to bring her family home.
Five original songs, written for the film. Releasing one song at a time, then complete.
A series that came straight out of a classroom. Short, funny, and quietly about the things children are actually working out — fairness, embarrassment, being new, being left out.
Written by someone who spends his days with this exact audience and takes notes.
What clients say
Every one of these is on Google, under my real business listing, and you can read them all there.
Lighthouse Multimedia created the most beautiful video of my grandson centered around the importance of honesty. From the moment he saw it, he was beyond excited — especially because the character looked just like him. Seeing his face light up was priceless. The storytelling, quality, and attention to detail were exceptional, and the message was delivered in such a meaningful and age-appropriate way. Thank you for creating something so special that our family will treasure for years to come. This is truly a memory he will never forget.

About
Lighthouse Multimedia is one person. That's the whole studio, and it's deliberate.
I teach computer science, engineering and technology to young people. It's the best job I've had for understanding how an idea actually lands — you find out within about four seconds whether something is clear or whether you've lost the room. That has made me a better filmmaker than any amount of studying could have.
It also means the educational work isn't a category I picked off a list. I write for these students, test it on them, and rewrite it when it doesn't land.
Because I have a day job I don't need every project, which turns out to be the best thing that ever happened to my work. I take on a small number, I take my time, and I only say yes when I think I can make something good. If that sounds slow, it is. That's the point.

I read everything that comes through here. I usually reply within a few days — I'm teaching during the week, so it's rarely the same afternoon.
